I am a political science PhD candidate and statistics MS candidate at UCLA. I specialize in American politics and formal methods.

My substantive areas of interest are representation, democratic responsiveness, control of the bureaucracy, Latino politics, district demography, the Census and redistricting, party nominations, and candidate selection. My dissertation focuses on how Congressional agencies like GAO and CBO, and Executive agencies like OIRA and OMB, influence policy by influencing rules implementation.
